Investment Management businesses. Voya US is seeking a skilled and
motivated Retirement Services Application Support Consultant with
expertise in applications and platforms that support our Retirement
business. Experience with Omni Plus, OMNI script, Linux, Cobol,
SQL, and Oracle Databases will fit the bill for this role. As an
Application Support Consultantr, you will play a lead pivotal role
in the development and maintenance of our software applications,
including web-based solutions and database systems. You will work
closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop,
and support software solutions that meet our business needs.
Profile Description: IT Supplier Delivery Governance
responsibilities:
- Lead via influence and experience the day-to-day operations of
an application portfolio (e.g. application maintenance, stability,
innovation, development, incident, change & problem management)
inclusive of a vendor team of resources within an outcome based
contract
- Monitor Supplier procedures and client interaction to ensure
compliance with Voya policy and SLAs.
- Review performance results and determine when application
maintenance support levels need to be changed. Accountable for
initiating supplier dispute and contractual change requests
- Seek to achieve the highest value service from vendors and
evaluates vendor performance based on vendor metrics.
- Review and validate service level report accuracy and escalate
concerns/discrepancies.
- Act as initial contact for Suppliers participating in the
end-to-end support process.Application Technical Leadership &
Consulting:
- Ensures proper coordination of software application design,
development, testing, quality assurance, configuration,
installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely
implementation of work requests and issue resolution.
- Provides technical and application portfolio risk management
consulting leadership to managers and the supplier. Has
accountability for the technical delivery of work by the supplier
for a defined portfolio.
- Ensure delivery and planning of large application maintenance
and currency efforts in partnership with the supplier and project
management
- Coordinates with the supplier and the Application Development
Project team to transition services and support to the application
maintenance transition activities.
- Partner with architects and shared services teams to ensure
Voya standards, software development practices, and compliant
designs are met.
- Review support documentation for Operational IT governance and
ensure it is up to standard. Identify opportunities for new
services, continuous improvement and/or cost reduction and manage
related change requests.Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS,
Engineering or a directly related field, Master's Degree
preferred.
- Eight + years of software engineering and development or
Operations, including five years in technical leadership
- Ability to embrace, adapt and lead through change, fosters
effective partnerships, and drive effective collaboration with
peers and vendor resources.
- Expertise in new computing architectures and implementation of
networked computing structures
- Demonstrated expertise working across multiple
platforms/technologies
- Strong Problem Solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in both technical and
business terms
- Ability to embrace, adapt and lead through change, foster
effective partnerships, and drive effective collaboration with
peers and vendor resources.
- Expertise in supplier service delivery oversight, quality
review & acceptanceCompensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed
to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for
comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary
range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in
the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers
incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales
incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to
reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this
posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted
salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work
experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level
and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time
roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours
to be regularly worked. $97,160.00 - $152,880.00 USDBe Well. Stay
