Senior Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis

Location/s:

Position Responsibilities :


Become the subject matter expert regarding the functionality of the EPM Applications (HFM / FDM / Planning & Essbase, Smart View) and the various Finance processes / rhythms that they support. Use Finance expertise to work with both functional and technical teams to ensure applications are meeting all business requirements.

Collaborate with the FP&A user community to identify and deliver new Enhancements to the EPM Applications, ensuring successful deployments via thorough scoping, impact assessment, design, and testing

Drive resolutions to identified problems and issues, in conjunction with IT counterparts

Partner with SBD business unit FP&A Users to maintain, design, and deliver Planning and Allocations functionality as business requirements and needs evolve

Work with Controllership to manage key FDM and HFM business processes (Financial Data Loads, Data Mapping, Month End Close, Forecast Consolidation and Financial Certifications)

Identify User Training Opportunities and Needs, to continually improve the EPM Application support offerings to the business.


Who You Are:


Proven experience managing multiple tasks to hit time-sensitive deadlines, ruthlessly prioritizing stay focused on the right things at the right times to drive maximum value

Ability to analyze customer needs through soliciting, evaluating, and acting upon feedback.

Demonstrates financial management expertise, with experience using modeling tools to report and project summarized results

Ability to work efficiently with large data sets to identify and address complex issues

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively to all levels across a matrixed organization

Desire to understand the technical design behind EPM Applications, and how they support the requirements of Finance stakeholders

Curious & questioning mindset, always seeking to improve processes & simplify.


Education/Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics

3+ years of experience in Finance or Analytics role

Experience with Oracle applications (i.e., Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, Smart View, etc.) preferred, or other similar financial planning / reporting software

Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in Consumer Products industry preferred
