Ref ID: 00700-0012674048Classification: Staff AccountantCompensation: $45000.00 to $75000.00 yearlyStaff Accountant - Hybrid work schedule!Growing international company in the New Britain area is looking for a Staff Accountant. -Working with the Director of Finance and being a contributing member of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, assisting with month end close, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax return preparation, audit and special projects as assigned. -
--- - - - - - -Prepare and analyze general ledger account and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that revenue and expenses are recorded appropriately.
--- - - - - - -Journal entry preparation.
--- - - - - - -Monthly, quarterly an annual planning including budgets and forecasts.
--- - - - - - -Create various reports for internal and external users.
--- - - - - - -Prepare bank account reconciliations within ERP system.
--- - - - - - -Record, maintain and reconcile fixed assets and related depreciation accounts.
--- - - - - - -Help with annual audit and tax compliance process by providing supporting documentation.
--- - - - - - -Participate in other special projects as required.
