Portfolio Manager LOCATION: Headquarters REPORTS TO: Senior Vice
President – Corporate Lending Team Leader CLASSIFICATION: Full
Time, Exempt PAY GRADE: EX 60 ($67,500 - $106,100 annually)
AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Position Summary: This
position is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of
commercial customers allowing Relationship Managers time to focus
on business development efforts and new client acquisition. This
will include managing all aspects of a portfolio of commercial
customer relationships at a high level of expertise as assigned by
management. Responsibilities include managing loan opportunity
workflow, including participations, facilitating the opening of
deposit accounts, communicating with third parties (i.e.,
attorneys), preparing term sheets and commitment letters and
representing Pioneer at loan closings on behalf of the Relationship
Manager. Key Responsibilities: Becomes an active part of the
relationship management team, the client, and client’s professional
advisors in analyzing performance information and responding to
loan requests. Maintains current knowledge of Pioneer’s products,
services, and processes. Maintains familiarity with all credits in
assigned portfolio and is actively involved with servicing issues
with clients; interacts with members of the Relationship Management
Team and Commercial Services as needed. Attends loan closings in
place of the Corporate Lenders due to scheduling conflicts.
Potential to maintain a book of small business clients. Supports
assigned Relationship Managers in various client and non-client
facing tasks related to overall Account Management. Helps
coordinate operations between Commercial Relationship Managers,
Commercial Services Team, Cash Management, Business Banking, and
other departments. Manages the loan opportunity workflow including
monitoring closing items and communicating with customer(s) as well
as closing attorney(s). Education & Experience: A high school
graduate or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance,
or Accounting preferred. Five (5) years’ experience in a Commercial
Credit Analyst position preferred. Experience analyzing financial
statements and in making industry evaluations is required.
Flexibility with regard to work schedule (some evenings and
Saturdays). Able to organize workload and meet deadlines. Access to
transportation on short notice and ability to travel between local
offices required. Must be a motivated and enthusiastic team player
