Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available in Providence, RI, offering a dynamic environment focused
on supporting student communication needs. This role involves
working with diverse student populations to assess, plan, and
implement individualized speech and language interventions that
enhance educational success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student
needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based
on assessment results. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
other educational professionals to support student progress.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies
as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Provide consultation and support to classroom staff regarding
speech and language development. Desired Qualifications: Masters
degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings
preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work
collaboratively. Flexibility to travel to different school
locations within the Providence area. Location: Providence, Rhode
