team to serve clients. - LiRo-Hill -is a 1100-person firm with
offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham,
MA and Metro Park, NJ. -The client for this project is the NYS
Office of General Services (OGS).Please provide references upon
resume submission.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking assistance in the
Division of Contract Management for various duties related to the
advertisement, bidding, and awarding of construction contracts.
-The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-Advertisement Functions: Handling all tasks involved in
preparing for the advertisement of construction contracts.
- Contract Document Review: Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy
of contract documents.
- Advertising: Managing the advertisement process for
construction contracts.
- Bid Auditing: Auditing bids to ensure compliance and
fairness.
- Contract Administration: Administering contracts through the
pre-award process.
- Document Preparation: Preparing documents and contract packages
for submission to the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC).
- Procurement Management: Managing the procurement process for
public construction projects, including ensuring compliance with
regulations; working closely with various stakeholders, including
contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure that
projects are awarded on schedule, within budget, and to the
required quality standards.QualificationsThe candidate must have at
least five (5) years of experience of:
- Working on projects valued at over $1M
- Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review,
basic scheduling techniques, payment review and preparation.
- Knowledge and expertise in review and preparing construction
contracting documents for procurement.
- Proficient in MS Office; Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel and
scheduling applications.
- General experience in procurement, contract administration, or
a related field.
- Experience in public procurement and/or public construction is
highly desireable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- OSHA 10 required.
- Preferred Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to
