Certification(s) Preferred :
Certifications and/or experience in Guidewire policy, billing or
claims and Digital portals.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills :
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success
in managing system implementation and/or upgrade projects related
to and/or leveraging GW Digital Portals.
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success
in insurance business applications such as:
Expertise in Guidewire Cloud, Policy Center preferred. Billing
Center and Claim Center considered;
Expertise in Policy Center rating (standards based (ISO) and
non-standard);
Knowledge in Guidewire rating architecture;
Hands on Rating development Experience SBT and APD, Rating Design
Configurations;
Exposure to APD Products and Rating Structure;
Experience in working with Product Owner and Business and the
capability to assist Business / Digital transformations;
Experience in Managing Development Teams and Providing Technical
Guidance;
Identify Issues in Rating and effectively address them with
efficiency;
Experience in Guidewire Portals, such as ProducerEngage,
CustomerEngage, VendorEngage, ServiceRepEngage considered;
Knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data
Model);
Experience in software architecture and design patterns;
Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in
SQL;
Exposure to SCM tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN, etc;
Document management system;
Knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or WebSphere/WebLogic;
Possess real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system
integration (preferably from Insurance domain background);
Possess understanding and experience of software development
practices;
Coordinate build, deployment, and code merge activities;
Work with client business subject matter specialists (SMS) to
understand the requirements and translate them into viable
solutions;
Maintain and fix issues in various environments like Dev, QA, UAT
and Prod.;
Involve in unit testing and documentation; and,
Guidewire Studio, Guidewire Cloud Console, Visual Code
Studio/JetBrains, JMS, JSON, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Rest API,
Git/Bitbucket.
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success
in identifying and addressing client needs by:
Build relationships with clients;
Develop an awareness of Firm service;
Communicate with the client in an organized and knowledgeable
manner;
Deliver clear requests for information;
Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;

Personal Lines;
Commercial Lines;
Direct and agency distribution channels;
Insurance contracts;
Product models; Rating;
Policy administration;
Claims;
Billing; and,
Advisory (ISO/NCCI/AAIS) agencies, regulatory and compliance
agencies.
