(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. - LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. -The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).Please provide references upon resume submission.ResponsibilitiesThe Pre-Construction Project Manager will manage outside consultants to achieve design deliverable milestones. -

• Read, review, interpret and comprehend designs provided by project design team
• Responsible for the construction and rehabilitation project designs for various clients
• Work on projects that are budget and deadline driven and require extensive knowledge of building and fire codes, architectural standards
• Supervise and review specifications and drawings as submitted by Architects and design personnel
• Review technical work of consultants
• Reviewing for constructability
• Review construction estimates
• Working with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil and Structural drawings
• Confer with client agencies and contractors
• Supervise consultant work
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
• Coordinate and supervise complex architectural - projects for new and rehabilitation of building plans and designs
• Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessaryQualifications -
  • Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Ability to understand, review and approve design work
  • Experience coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
  • A minimum of four (4) years' experience in a role of Assistant Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million, with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents
  • Full knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor's payment application - -Our Culture: -We believe in the power of collaboration.
