market---and we need your help.The RoleWe are seeking a talented
Director of Data & Analytics to join our team reporting to the CFO.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for the
data and analytics function at Trade. You have demonstrated
experience at a DTC brand developing, building, and communicating
analysis that drives positive business outcomes and arms
stakeholders with actionable insights. Trade is a data-driven
business with a strong foundation and tech stack along with a
sophisticated matching algorithm.Your mission will be to take
decision-making to the next level at a growing eCommerce coffee
business in a way that will fundamentally change the trajectory of
the company. You will manage and continue to build the small and
mighty team to drive impact across strategy, infrastructure,
products (AI, algorithm and forecasting), experimentation and key
metrics.The ideal candidate is highly skilled at building,
maintaining and analyzing large data sets and partnering with
business stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication
skills are required as this role will lead analyses, share findings
with business teams, and drive strategies that promote favorable
customer experience and financial outcomes. This individual is
highly proficient in developing and executing cross-functional
project plans while being able to operate independently.Key
Responsibilities
- Champion a data-driven culture at Trade; providing training and
technical support to team members, enhancing their ability to
leverage BI solutions effectively
- Build and optimize interactive dashboards and visualizations to
clearly communicate insights, establishing visualization
standards
- Lead development of KPIs and best-in-class measurement
frameworks for evaluating customer engagement with Trade's digital
platform; continuously improve Trade's measurement of customer
acquisition, retention/LTV, feature engagement, operational
performance, and financials from various product offerings
- Lead experimentation and scientific method to decision making
including A/B tests
- Oversee the selection and implementation of data analytics
tools and technologies to ensure they meet the company's evolving
requirements
- Manage cross-functional initiatives that require development of
new data sources and changes to existing data infrastructure and
analytics products
- Coach and develop data analysts and analytics engineersYou
have---
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Math,
Statistics, Economics or a related degree with analytics and
quantitative emphasis
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience analyzing data and
delivering business insights
- Strong data visualization skills in Looker
- Experience using Python to build data pipelines to ingest data
from APIs, transform data, and perform analyses
- High degree of proficiency in SQL (we use Snowflake)
- Experience working with data warehouse platforms to store and
manipulate data
- Experience working with our tech stack including Stitch, dbt,
Hex, Shopify, MixPanel and Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency with eCommerce customer and site analytics data
sets (e.g., attribution models, customer journeys, conversion
funnels and feature measurement)You'll be successful in the role if

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven
ability to translate analyses into business actions and quantified

- Proven experience independently managing cross-functional
projects, delivering results on tight timelines with minimal
direction from leadership
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing analysts or
data engineers

experiences and business operations
- Thorough understanding of Financial KPIs and P&L
statement
- Extreme attention to detail, driving for pixel perfection

- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and

context shifts
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to interact
with cross-departmental groupsOffice GuidelinesWhile we operate in
a hybrid-first environment, the office is open and available for
all Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to spend at
least three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in-office each

through alignment with market data. Base salary is determined by a
number of factors including the candidate's experience,
qualifications, and skills.NYC Base Salary Range$160,000 -
$200,000In addition, Trade offers comprehensive benefits, including

spending account, and paid leave (including vacation time and
