The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. Pharmacists perform functions related to the control, monitoring and dispensing of medications for all age groups of patients according to department procedures and protocols in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. Supervises medication preparation by pharmacy technicians and advises nursing personnel regarding appropriate medication administration. Pharmacists promote the rational use of medications via provision of drug information and clinical monitoring services to members of the medical community. Qualifications Education Requirements --- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy --- Pharm.D. preferred Minimum Requirements --- Current CT Pharmacist license --- Previous hospital or long term care experience highly preferred --- Excellent customer service and communications skills We take great care of careers.
