birth through the end of life. Job Summary: Manages day to day
operations to ensure high quality, customer focused workflows are
in place that meet the strategic plan, goals and objectives of the
Heart and Vascular Institute in the Central Region. Follows
established policies and procedures set by the department,
hospital, state, ACR, JCAHO, and OSHA. Is a role model as our
Technologist Leader in collaboration with our RN Clinical Resource
Leaders to support and develop a high performing Team.
Responsibilities: 1. Meets with new physicians in collaboration
with the manager, to review equipment needs and ensures we are
ready for their onboarding and new procedures. 2. Communicates
effectively with patients, physicians and staff members. 3. Has
oversight for ordering and maintaining supply and equipment
inventory. 4. Assess new or replacement equipment for Cath
Lab/Angio that include training, scheduling, & demos. 5. Monitors
budget for supplies and equipment, researches variances and
participates in yearly budget development. Reports information to
the manager. 6. Corrects charge errors daily or as needed. Has over
sight for special techs that have been trained to assist. 7.
Maintains Charge Master. 8. Participates in our Quality Improvement
programs 9. Monitors Epic Queues and follows up as needed 10.
Reviews procedure logs daily, making corrections and adding CPT
codes as needed 11. Has input to Special Tech yearly evaluations
12. Participates and has oversight in new hires and orientation of
new team members 13. Participates in educational programs to
enhance professional growth. 14. In collaboration with the manager,
is responsible for all federal and state regulations and
inspections.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: --- Current
Connecticut State Radiographer's License, ARRT registered. --- 5
years previous experience as staff technologist in an Invasive Lab
that supports cardiology, radiology and vascular physicians ---
Must demonstrate leadership behaviors and be goal oriented ---
Demonstrated ability to lead a team --- Highly effective
communication and organizational skills --- Must have the ability
to manage and organize multiple priorities Education requirements:
--- Current CT State Radiographers License --- ARRT Registered ---
BLS certified Critical Success Factors: --- Experience scrubbing
into invasive procedures highly desirable. --- Images must be
within acceptable diagnostic standards. We take great care of
