Operating Room/Ambulatory Care/MedSurg opening in New Britain, Connecticut. Prestigious facility in New Britain, CT currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) available for a contract assignment (local or travel) with possible extension.

  • OR - Operating Room Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
    • Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
    • 2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
    • 1 year OR experience required
    • BLS required
    • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking skills
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
    • Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible
    • Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software.
    • Pre-employment drug screen
    • Covid vaccine with booster if eligible
    • Shift times: 7A-5P, rotating Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage, minimal call. No holidays.
      7A-7P, rotating Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage, minimal call. No holidays.
      11A-11P, rotating Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage, minimal call. No holidays.
    • Day & Mid shift available
    • 13 weeks with possible option to extend
