Job Summary - The Clinical Resource Leader (CRL) is recognized as the clinical expert in Cardiology Patient Care Services and a leadership role model for Registered Nurses and all staff under their direct supervision. This position will be responsible for daily operations of our busy Cardiology Clinic at HOCC. The CRL will be in charge of weekly playbook and staffing concerns, including triaging call outs within the department. She/he will also be responsible for Kronos/time keeping for all team members reporting to the CRL. This position will also support team members clinically via performance of; diagnostic stress testing, HF infusion visits, IV insertion/medication administration per MD orders, phlebotomy when needed. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and developing staff performance in conjunction with the Regional Nurse Manager. Responsible for monthly reporting of HVI volumes for HOCC Cardiology clinic. Qualifications Minimum Requirements -

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health related field - a qualified candidate in the process of completing the education requirement will be considered.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass dysrhythmia test within 90 days of hire
  • Current CT RN License (Or within 90 days of hire)
  • ACLS certified (within 90 days of hire)
  • BLS required Preferred Requirements -
    • 2 years Nursing experience in Cardiology/Cardio-diagnostics strongly preferred
    • 1 year of Charge/CRL/Supervisory experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements -
      • Demonstrates appropriate clinical knowledge to evaluate and prioritize patient care issues
      • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
