*Immediate Job Opportunity Available**Seeking Full Time SLP for our Longwood UPK Enrichment Program*Just Kids is a group of specialized preschools located across Suffolk & Nassau County, Long Island, serving children with a wide range of disabilities from three to five years of age.*Requirements: *-Must hold a valid Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or equivalent from NYS Education Department (Division of Teacher Certification).-Must possess a masters degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Sciences from an accredited college or university.-License and current registration from the NYS Education Department (Division of Professional Licensing) to practice in the State of NY as a Speech Pathologist.*General Duties:*-Expertise in differentiation of instruction to support the success of all students.- Experience working with students with language needs and disabilities, including those with speech/language delays, learning disabilities, behavioral needs, etc.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.*-*Use and knowledge of normal language development-Speech and Articulation strategies-Lesson improvement and support for teachers-Consulting about individual student needs.-Providing behavioral strategies to implement within the classroom to support whole group learning and safe environments.-Monthly SEL lessons as requested by the teachers.-Collaborate with Longwood UPK Coordinator if areas of training are needed*-Travel to 10 UPK building locations (total of 28 classrooms) to meet the communication needs of children**Benefits for Full Time Employees:** Medical Benefits* Dental* Vision* Life Insurance* 401 K* School Calendar + 6 Week Summer Program (hours 8:15-3:15)*STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS AVAILABLE!!**Salary will be commensurate with experience.*Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayWillingness to travel:* 50% (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
