Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. Job Function: Day Shift. 5x8. Performs MRI imaging procedures. Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures. Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique. Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion. Job Requirements: 1–3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. Must hold current ARRT (MRI) certification. Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program. Valid New York State IV Certification. BLS certification is required. Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
