Job Description:
Psychiatrist opening in CT Located in New Britain, 12m to
Hartford Join a cohesive behavioral health team as a BC/BE
Psychiatrist, providing inpatient adult services. Responsibilities
include:Conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and
pharmacotherapy.Leading a multi-disciplinary treatment team,
coordinating care, and guiding other clinicians.Documenting
assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summaries
timely.Monitoring risk indicators and addressing management issues
to ensure safety.Following evidence-based prescribing practices and
obtaining informed consent for medication trials.Communicating with
external providers, primary care physicians, and
families.Supervising selected non-physician health
professionals.Participating in Medical Staff Committees and
