About the Position We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Vascular
Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York
beginning Mar 9, 2026. This full-time opportunity requires 12-hour
shifts with call and a flexible schedule including days, nights,
evenings, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have substantial
vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and must be comfortable
with both intraoperative first assisting and medical management
responsibilities. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Mar 9,
2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Surgery - Vascular Nurse
Practitioner Schedule: 12-hour shifts with call; schedule varies
and includes days, nights, evenings, and weekends Responsibilities
and Duties Suture removal Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and
interpret diagnostic tests Assist in surgery, including
intraoperative first assisting Remove dialysis catheters Write
prescriptions Coordinate patient care and conduct rounding Perform
pre-operative physical exams Additional Information Active New York
State license required at the time of submission Board
Certification: American Association of Nurse Practitioners or NCCPA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RNFA required No new graduates; must
have vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and medical
management expertise A Self-Query NPDB report from the month of
