Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare organization known

cutting-edge patient care, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse
II for our Neuro Progressive Care Unit (D5E). This role is pivotal
in providing exceptional nursing care to patients with neurological
conditions who require close monitoring and complex assessments.
Our unit specializes in handling patients recovering from
neurosurgery, strokes, and other neurological disorders in a
progressive care setting. If you are passionate about making a

Center will be a perfect fit. Perform comprehensive patient
assessments and establish care plans based on individual needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for
side effects. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
optimal patient care. Educate patients and their families on
disease processes, treatment, and prevention. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Participate
in research and continuous improvement initiatives within the unit.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on neurological assessment.
Proficiency in using medical software for patient care
documentation. Ability to work effectively in high-stress
situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of current best practices in neuro progressive care
nursing. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Certification in Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) or
Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred.
