Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care RN – New York Start Date: December 19, 2025 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Full-time; average patient load of 3 high acuity patients Highlights: Progressive Critical Care Unit serving medically delicate and surgically complex patient populations Epic EMR system experience required Advanced hemodynamic monitoring including pressors, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, CVP, and EVD management Diverse case mix: respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission Navy blue scrubs required Requirements: Active New York RN license (or eligibility) Epic EMR experience mandatory ACLS certification required Competency in medical and surgical patient populations Experience with advanced hemodynamics, titration protocols, HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and ventilator-dependent patients Strong skills in antihypertensive drips, sedation protocols, thrombolytics, orthopedic traction, and infection prevention Large-scale adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU experience preferred Current email required for competency testing Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated team caring for the region's most critically ill patients in a progressive care environment that bridges the gap between step-down and intensive care.
