Job Description Job Description Recruiting a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist to join our well established multi-specialty clinic and board-certified gastroenterologists and their team of Nurse Practitioners. The outpatient practice serves a large patient base and offers expertise in intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disease. Candidates must be comfortable with a variety of gastrointestinal disease and routine endoscopic procedures, but any specific expertise, technical skills (e.g., ERCP), or interests would be particularly valuable. The successful candidate would also see hospital consults at Saint Anne’s Hospital (a Steward facility). This hospital offers imaging and interventional services, and surgical procedures are performed either locally or referred to superb tertiary centers in Boston. The inpatient practice is consultative for patients admitted to the Hospitalist Service. Our busy endoscopy suite is located in our own office complex, with a full complement of nursing, anesthesia, and pathology staff. Procedures on higher-risk or complex patients are performed in the local hospital’s outpatient suite. 160-provider, physician-owned multispecialty group in Fall River, Massachusetts, an affiliate of the Steward Health Care Network. In addition to 40 Primary Care physicians, we represent various medical and surgical specialists, with our own outpatient laboratory and imaging capabilities. New graduates or experienced, practicing physicians will be considered. Fall River is an excellent medical community and broad Primary Care base provides an excellent source of specialty referrals. The salary is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses and partnership.
