Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Plastic Surgeon to the group
at NYC Health Hospitals/Harlem . The Hospital is part of the NYC
Health Hospitals. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma
Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the
areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault
Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient
visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000
inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong
academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of

Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to

function is to provide comprehensive, compassionate quality care to
the patients of Health and Hospitals/Harlem. Under supervision of
the Department Chairperson with broad latitude for independent
judgement and initiative, the Staff Physician is an integral part
of the medical team at the facility. They are expected to take a
leading role in the delivery of health care services to patients in
addition to being responsible for the supervision of the advanced
practice practitioner staff. Responsibilities The position work
collaboratively and alongside other physicians and management of
all plastic surgery patients in the Department. Develop
personalized treatment plans based on patients’ goals and medical
conditions. Perform surgical procedures, including facelifts,
breast augmentations, liposuction, rhinoplasty, reconstructive
surgeries, hand surgery, burn care and other reconstructive
procedures. Use advanced surgical techniques and tools to achieve
optimal results and minimize risks. Provide post-operative care,
including monitoring patients’ recovery, prescribing medication,
and addressing any complications or concerns. Educate patients
about each procedure and risks, benefits, and potential outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as
anesthesiologists and nurses, during surgical procedures. Maintain
accurate and detailed medical records of all patients interactions,
treatments, and outcomes. Adhere to ethical standards and follow
all applicable laws and regulations in plastic surgery.
Qualifications Medical Degree(MD or DO) Completion of a residency
program in plastic surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council
for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Board certification or
eligibility by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) Valid
medical License to practice as a plastic surgeon Exceptional
