Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system that mixes a

a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our General Surgery Trauma
division. This position demands a compassionate and skilled nursing
professional to provide exceptional care during the night shift. As
an integral part of our team, you will work in a dynamic
environment that continuously strives for excellence in medical
education, research, and patient care. Provide direct nursing care
in a surgical trauma setting. Monitor patient health and maintain
accurate medical records. Collaborate with the surgical team to
plan and implement comprehensive patient care. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Educate
patients and their families on post-surgery recovery processes.
Ensure the effectiveness of pain management techniques. Respond
rapidly and effectively to emergencies. Proficiency in managing
trauma patients and providing post-operative care. Ability to
collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Strong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competence in
using healthcare software and electronic health records. Medical
Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred. Certification in Surgical Nursing or
Trauma Care is highly desirable.
