Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system with a

and patient care, is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for our
Medical/Surgical Hospitalist team. This position will involve
providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients within
our Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion
for healthcare and a commitment to improving the well-being of
others. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for
Medical/Surgical patients according to established standards. Work
collaboratively with healthcare professionals to facilitate and
support holistic care and treatment of patients. Administer
medications and monitor for efficacy and safety. Educate patients
and families on health care needs, conditions, options, and
self-care skills. Maintain patient records with accuracy and
timeliness, adhering to confidentiality regulations. Participate in
the development of nursing care plans. Strong clinical skills in a
medical/surgical environment Ability to handle high stress
situations professionally Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in electronic health record systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
