Berkshire Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to our physical therapists and delivering excellent care to our patients. This position involves assisting with exercises, treatments, and reporting patient progress to physical therapists. Ideal candidates should be passionate about healthcare, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to patient wellness. Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients Help with setting up therapy equipment and preparing treatment areas Guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities under the direction of a physical therapist Maintain patient records and document progress Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of therapy areas Provide support and insight into patient care and management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using physical therapy software and equipment Ability to follow instructions and help manage patient therapy plans Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance CPR certification Physical Therapy Aide certification (optional but advantageous)
