Job Description Job Description Barista Position Overview: The
Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and
espresso-based drinks while delivering exceptional customer
service. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, friendly,
and committed to creating a welcoming environment for guests. Key
Responsibilities: 1. Drink Preparation: Prepare a wide range of
coffee and espresso-based beverages according to established
recipes. Ensure consistency and quality in each drink, from brewing
coffee to creating latte art. Follow proper techniques for
grinding, brewing, and steaming milk. 2. Customer Service: Provide
excellent customer service, greeting guests with a warm attitude
and assisting with orders. Educate customers on menu items, making
recommendations based on preferences. Handle customer complaints or
concerns in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized
workspace, including counters, machines, and utensils. Regularly
clean coffee equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and
safely. Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as
needed. 4. Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately,
including handling cash and credit card payments. Balance the cash
register at the end of each shift. Qualifications: • Previous
experience as a Barista is preferred but not required. • Strong
communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor. • Ability
to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to
detail and a passion for coffee preparation. • Availability to work
early mornings, weekends, and holidays
