As a Senior Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the
Corporate Technology (CT), you will provide expertise to enhance
and develop our data platform using modern cloud-based technologies
(e.g. AWS, Databricks). You will collaborate with colleagues across
the organization to promote best-in-class outcomes and achieve the
target state architecture goals. Job responsibilities Create
durable, reusable data frameworks to meet the needs of the business
Establish architectural best practices, governance models, and
design patterns that support enterprise-grade solutions Evaluate
and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies that align with
long-term goals Mentor and coach junior architects and
technologists Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, equity,
inclusion and respect Remain up-to-date of industry trends and
emerging technologies Required qualifications, capabilities, and
skills Formal training or certification on data management concepts
and 10 years applied experience. In addition, 5 years of experience
leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex
technical items within your domain of expertise. Proven experience
architecting and delivering cloud solutions with focus on system
design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Expertise in microservices, containerization, and event-driven
architectures Advanced knowledge of application development and
technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or
more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence,
machine learning, mobile, etc.) Experience building new expertise
and demonstrates ability to appropriately apply in solutions for
complex architecture problems Ability to present and effectively
communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives and uncover business
challenges and develop solutions to solve them Communicate
effectively with business leaders, application developers and
systems technology experts Define target state architectures, and
develop transition plans for achieving target state Preferred
qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with Spark,
AWS, Databricks
