We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join a well-known Personal Injury Law Firm based in Jericho, NY. The firm specializes in handling cases related to Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Worker's Compensation, Mass Tort, and more. This position is full-time and requires in-office work in Nassau County.Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Provide support to attorneys throughout the claims process and beyond.Assist with initial client consultations, policy review, assessment, review, and analysis of supporting physician documentation, gathering of medical records, preparation of initial claim submissions, and ongoing proof of loss.Must possess excellent communication and writing skills, as well as strong organization and self-direction abilities.Should be comfortable engaging and interacting with high-level professionals, and familiarity with medical and financial information is preferred.Prior experience with No-Faults, medical requests, and drafting pleadings is desired.Previous employment at a Personal Injury Law Firm representing plaintiffs is a significant advantage.Bilingual skills are a plus.Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and computer skills are essential.Must be process-driven and comfortable engaging with high-level professionals.Familiarity with medical and financial information is preferred.Ability to work full-time in an office setting.The salary for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, plus benefits.by Jobble
