Job DescriptionJob Description:Polamer Precision is looking for
an experienced process engineer. The process engineer works with
manufacturing engineers to define a process routing in accordance
with customer requirements. Candidates should have basic
familiarity with milling/turning processes but specialize in
knowledge of non-traditional material removal and non-machining
manufacturing processes. Areas of desired expertise would include:
EDM, laser drilling, grinding, shot peen, non-destructive testing
methods, welding/fusion, coatings, assembly, balancing, cleaning
etc. Candidates should have experience working with customer
quality systems that require process approvals. Candidates should
have extensive knowledge of customer and industry specifications.
This position requires the individual to regularly interface with
customers and outside vendors to facilitate process approvals as
part of new product development.Experience:
- 5-10+ Years in manufacturing engineering related role depending
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required.
- Proficiency in a CAD program such as Solidworks or NX is
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are
- Experience developing Pratt and Whitney, Rolls Royce and
General Electric customer approved processes is
- 10+ years' experience High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years' experience with Bachelors degree in Engineering
