New Britain Permanent USD95,000 - USD105,000 per year Growing specialized manufacturing company in Pennsylvania, recently acquired another business and looking to expand their finance department for the future growth.Job Description

• Responsible for inventory accounting and variance analysis.
• Works with Operations, Engineering and Estimating teams to keep standards current and relevant.
• Work with Sales team on forecasting and analysis
• Cost accounting is a must
• Interact with operations team and not afraid to go out onto the operations floor
• Variance analysis
• SAP (Highly preferred)
• Provide finance business partnership for the local site management team by understanding and supporting the local business challenges, risks and strategies.
• Partner with the team to identify potential opportunities for value creation.
• Manage cost accounting and fiduciary controls and analyze the monthly manufacturing cost and plant performance.
• Foster continuous improvement in the finance team, challenging status quo and play a leading role in increasing effectiveness and efficiency of our wider finance team.
• Contribute to and implement continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing processes, improving data integrity, and leveraging current technology.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum o f3 - 5 years of professional general business, supply chain or financial experience
  • Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
  • Experience working across multiple departments to complete a project preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.
  • CPA or MBA is a plus IS A must
