seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in our MSU
(Medical Surgical Unit). Responsibilities: Provide exceptional and
compassionate care to hospitalized patients Perform treatments for
hospitalized patients including fluid and drug administration,
wound care, and monitoring of vitals Identify and promptly
communicate concerning changes in patient status Operate syringe
pumps, fluid pumps, dopplers, blood pressure monitors, point of
care lab equipment and SP02 monitors Maintain and stock inventory
Ability to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to establish and maintain effective, respectful working
relationships with team members and coworkers across every
department Must be able to work successfully both alone and as part
of a team Must have ability to remain composed in stressful and
emergency situations Flexibility and the ability to accommodate
shift work in a hospital that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Qualifications: Must have a New York State Veterinary Technician's
license or permit Must have animal handling experience and ability
to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able
to work successfully as part of a team Must have ability to remain
composed in stressful and emergency situations Must have
flexibility necessary to work additional hours when workload

Sunday-Tuesday 8pm-8:30am Position 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
8pm-8:30am Position 3: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 8pm-8:30am
Position 4: Thursday-Saturday 8pm-8:30am Pay Range $30—$40 USD
