Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Practice Physician to join a well established outpatient primary care office in the Bronx, New York . This opportunity combines clinical practice with academic engagement , allowing physicians to participate in teaching and residency program activities while maintaining a balanced outpatient workload. Newly trained graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Flexible scheduling is available, including full-time and part-time options , with limited call responsibilities and opportunities for hybrid or remote work. Physicians may also choose to practice in a traditional model that includes inpatient rounding if desired. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse patient population. Participate in teaching, supervision, and mentorship of residents and medical students. Collaborate with hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR system. Engage in departmental quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives . Support the organization’s mission of delivering patient-centered, community-oriented healthcare. Qualifications Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine; active or eligible New York medical license.
