Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a
night shift Emergency Department position requiring a NY RN license
and Epic EMR experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Emergency
Department of a hospital setting - Direct care for a range of
emergency and trauma patients - Night shift position with hours
from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - 13-week assignment - Use of Epic EMR is
required - No blocked scheduling is permitted - Competency testing
is required with two attempts permitted to pass - Call outs
exceeding three occurrences in a 13-week period will result in
contract termination, with make up shifts required within six weeks
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of
application - Candidates cannot live in or near specified local
counties within a 50-mile radius of the facility - Travel pairs are
not permitted for this assignment - Holiday coverage may be
required as per unit needs Requirements - Active NY RN license
required at time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent
emergency department RN experience required - Current
certifications from AHA or RQI including BLS and ACLS - Prior
hands-on experience with Epic EMR is mandatory - No gaps in work
history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months - US Social
Security Number required - Medical documentation required for flu
vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations are not
